River Safari - a little trip with Grandpa

It is time to make use of those corporate passes! And first one is to go to River Safari.. Unfortunately, this place is so popular that the pass is usually not available on weekends and I decided to get it on a weekday and enlist Grandpa to come along.

I did my due diligence before I went and it seems a relatively alright place to maneuver with a baby, preschooler and a senior. So we set off early on 28 May... I woke up extra early around 5-ish so that I can finish my chores and get going. It takes a lot to prep a baby and preschooler before going out. Especially if I am travelling without any adult. We were good... We set off at 9.30am to take a taxi after peak hours to go to hillside. And reached there at 10-ish.

Off we go...
Selfie with new specs...
So busy in their own worlds... Gloria is a princess in her stroller...
Huge crocs...
Grandpa with red panda....
Newborn giant panda are so raw... I especially like their raw feeling...so bare without fur...

My babies...big and small.. They love pot stop at mama panda restaurant...
How do you pronounce cichlids?!?!

All in all, I think we had a good time at river safari. 6/10. Haha. The park is relatively small... And Gloria and Jacob couldn't take the boat ride cos they are less than 1.09m tall so they miss out on a couple of animals... Well well...when they grow up. The park is small so that also means the adults are not too tired walking under the hot sun. There are two lovely aircon spots - giant panda and amazon forest, giving us refreshing cool weather! And the kids were behaving,,, no major tantrums partly also cos the park was small and Gloria mostly sat in her stroller. She fell asleep in the car on the ride back.... Overall, an okay trip considering admission and parking is free. But if I had to pay, nah!!!!
