Lunch date at Le Cusine

Checking out new restaurants... This is one of my to-do items... And my lunch partner on weekdays is my dad! 


The lychee coulis is a surprise.. It is a little ball, much like a tapioca bead but it pops in your mouth to ooze out lychee tasting liquid! The skin is like a thin gel-like material. Interesting...

The pork belly is not tender enough for me... And the sauce is alright... The memorable bits is the lychee coulis. :)

The beef stew is average... Melt in your mouth beef but the serving seems small. I would have preferred the dish to be more warm. It has some melted cheese on top, which I think adds some interesting flavour to it, other than the tomato based sauce.

We also had complimentary spinach soup with real spinach bits. And it was not thick but instead, it was a flowing liquid texture. A good soup...

Nice place to go to... Now if only they have lunch set specials!
